SEO Packages by CMS: Platform-Specific SEO for WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Webflow and More

Your website platform quietly decides which SEO fixes are possible. A WordPress site lets you change almost anything. A Shopify store locks part of its URL structure. A Squarespace site manages its own robots.txt file. That is why SEOServiceinIndia builds SEO packages by CMS. Each package is scoped around what your platform actually lets you control, and priced around the work your platform actually needs. We deliver for businesses in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Singapore and India.

You might run a content site on WordPress, a store on Shopify or Magento, a service website on Wix, or a headless build on Next.js. Whichever it is, our CMS SEO packages start with a free platform audit, not a generic checklist copied from another website.

Platform Reality

Why Your CMS Changes the SEO Job

Google does not rank content management systems. It ranks pages. However, your CMS controls how those pages are built: the HTML, the URL patterns, the canonical tags, the duplicate versions it creates, how fast pages render, and what gets indexed. Two websites with identical content can perform very differently if one platform quietly generates hundreds of filter URLs and the other does not.

The platform mix is also uneven. W3Techs data puts WordPress at roughly 59% of the CMS market, with Shopify around 7.5%, Wix about 4.3%, Squarespace about 3.5%, and Joomla, Webflow and Drupal each between 1% and 2%. Most SEO advice online is written for WordPress. When that advice is applied to other platforms, it often recommends changes that simply cannot be made there. Netzwerk

The Three Questions We Ask About Every Platform

01

What can you change? Some platforms give full control over URLs, redirects, robots.txt and server performance. Others handle these for you and lock the settings.

02

What does the platform do automatically, and does it do it well? Automatic sitemaps, canonical tags and structured data save time, but only when the defaults suit your site.

03

What does the platform create that you never asked for? Tag archives, attachment pages, parameter URLs, collection-path duplicates and app scripts are common examples. Each one can dilute crawl budget or slow your pages.

The answers to these three questions shape the whole engagement. This is why a one-size-fits-all SEO package usually wastes budget: it pays for work your CMS already handles and skips the problems your CMS actually creates.

Control Matrix

The CMS SEO Control Matrix

Before we quote a CMS SEO package, we map what your platform allows. Here is the simplified version we share with clients.

Platform URL Structure robots.txt Speed Control Most Common SEO Trap
WordPress Fully editable Editable Full (hosting, theme, caching) Plugin conflicts, thin tag archives, page-builder bloat
Shopify Fixed prefixes such as /products/ and /collections/ Editable through the theme Theme and apps only Collection-path product URLs, app script weight
Wix Mostly editable Editable in SEO settings Platform-managed Heavy pages from apps and effects
Squarespace Page slugs editable Platform-managed Platform-managed Limited head and schema control
Webflow Editable, with a fixed folder for CMS collections Editable Strong (clean code) Collection folder limits, heavy interactions
Magento / Adobe Commerce Fully configurable Editable Full Layered navigation parameter bloat
Drupal / Joomla Editable through modules or SEF settings Editable Full Duplicate paths, outdated versions
Headless Whatever you build Whatever you build Full Client-side rendering hiding content

Platforms update their features often. During the audit we check the settings available on your specific plan and version, rather than relying on last year's documentation.

SEO Packages for Every Major CMS

WordPress, Shopify and Wix SEO packages compared by platform
01

WordPress and WooCommerce SEO Packages

WordPress gives you the most control, and therefore the most ways for things to go wrong. We often find two SEO plugins outputting duplicate meta tags, and category and tag archives indexed with almost no content on them. Older installs often still have media attachment pages live, although newer installs switch these off by default. Page builders frequently hurt Largest Contentful Paint and Interaction to Next Paint.

Our WordPress SEO packages include a plugin audit, cleanup of archive indexing, theme and caching optimization, and a hosting review. For WooCommerce, we also control filter and sorting parameters, variation URLs and product schema.

02

Shopify SEO Packages

Shopify handles hosting, SSL and sitemaps well, but it fixes URL prefixes such as /products/ and /collections/ in place. We do not waste your budget trying to remove them. Instead, we fix what actually matters. Many themes link to products through collection paths, which creates duplicate URLs. We repoint those internal links to the canonical product URL. We also edit robots.txt through the theme template, control tag-filtered collection pages, and remove app scripts that remain after an app is uninstalled. Collection page copy, product schema and image optimization complete the package.

03

Wix and Squarespace SEO Packages

Can a Wix or Squarespace site rank? Yes, when the content and structure are right. These platforms handle much of the technical layer for you, so our packages put more weight on what you control. That means page-level titles and descriptions, heading structure, internal linking, local SEO, redirect mapping and content depth.

The two platforms differ in important ways. Wix provides a robots.txt editor and a built-in redirect manager. Squarespace manages robots.txt on your behalf, so crawl control there works through page settings and noindex options instead. We explain these limits plainly, so you know which issues can be fixed and which ones are platform ceilings.

04

Webflow SEO Packages

Webflow produces clean markup and supports custom 301 redirects, editable robots.txt and per-page SEO fields. The work here centers on CMS collection architecture. Collection items sit under a fixed collection folder, so we plan that folder structure around your keyword map before content scales. We also optimize heavy interactions and animations that slow pages down, and we set up hreflang correctly when Webflow Localization is used for multi-country sites.

05

Magento, Adobe Commerce and BigCommerce SEO Packages

Large catalogs create large crawl problems. Layered navigation can generate thousands of parameter combinations that Googlebot spends time on instead of your money pages. Our packages for these platforms focus on facet indexing rules, canonical logic, pagination, crawl budget monitoring through log files, category page content and structured data at scale. For BigCommerce, we also configure URL structure and faceted search settings from the start.

06

Drupal and Joomla SEO Packages

Both platforms are powerful, and both depend on the right extensions being configured properly. For Drupal, that means modules such as Pathauto, Metatag, Redirect and Simple XML Sitemap. For Joomla, it means SEF URL settings and duplicate menu-item paths. We also check the version you are running. Drupal 7 reached end of life in January 2025, and Joomla 3 has been unsupported for longer, so outdated sites carry both security risk and SEO risk. Where an upgrade is due, we plan it with SEO protection built in.

07

HubSpot Content Hub and Ghost SEO Packages

HubSpot Content Hub (formerly CMS Hub) and Ghost both ship with sensible SEO defaults, including canonical tags, sitemaps and meta fields. The opportunity on these platforms lies in content strategy, topic clusters, internal linking and schema beyond the defaults. For Ghost publications with memberships, we also handle how paywalled content is shown to search engines.

08

Headless CMS SEO (Contentful, Strapi, Sanity and Next.js)

A headless setup gives you complete control, which means SEO has to be engineered into the build. If important content only appears after JavaScript runs, search engines may index it late, and many AI crawlers may not see it at all. Our headless CMS SEO work covers the rendering strategy (server-side or static generation), metadata and schema fields in the content model, sitemap generation, redirects at the edge, and pre-launch crawl testing.

Package Inclusions

What Every CMS SEO Package Includes

Each platform has its own priorities, but every one of our CMS SEO packages covers the same foundations:

What CMS SEO packages include, from technical fixes to reporting

Platform audit: a full crawl, index coverage review and the control matrix for your specific CMS, plan and version.

Technical fixes: canonical tags, redirects, robots rules, sitemaps and duplicate URL cleanup, implemented within your platform's limits.

Core Web Vitals: LCP, INP and CLS improvements through theme, plugin, app and image optimization.

Keyword research and mapping: market-by-market research that assigns every target keyword to one page.

On-page optimization: titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links and content improvements.

Structured data: Organization, Product, Article, FAQ, LocalBusiness and Breadcrumb schema, where each one applies.

Content and authority: content that demonstrates real expertise, plus white-hat link building.

AI search visibility: crawlable, well-structured content that search engines and AI answer engines can read and cite.

Reporting: monthly reports on rankings, organic traffic and conversions, including the fixes your platform would not allow.

Migration SEO

CMS Migration SEO: Changing Platforms Without Losing Rankings

Moving from Wix to WordPress, from WooCommerce to Shopify, or from a legacy Drupal install to a headless build is where rankings are most often lost. Common causes include missing redirects, changed URL patterns, dropped metadata and content that did not come across.

Our migration SEO service includes the following:

  • A full URL inventory and benchmark before the move
  • A one-to-one 301 redirect map
  • Metadata and schema transfer
  • Staging-site crawl testing
  • Launch-day verification
  • Eight weeks of post-launch monitoring

We will also tell you when a migration is not worth it. Moving platforms for SEO alone rarely pays off unless your current CMS blocks something that matters to your business.

CMS SEO Pricing Tiers

Choose Your CMS SEO Package

CMS SEO packages pricing tiers: Starter, Growth and Enterprise

Starter CMS SEO Package

Enterprise CMS SEO Package

Designed for Magento, Adobe Commerce, Drupal, multi-country and headless websites. It includes everything in Growth, plus crawl budget and log file analysis, facet strategy, international SEO, migration support and a dedicated SEO lead.

Why Choose Us

Why Businesses Choose SEOServiceinIndia for Platform-Specific SEO

Hands-On Platform Experience

Our team works inside WordPress dashboards, Shopify theme code, Webflow Designer, Magento admin panels and headless repositories every week. Our recommendations come from implementing fixes ourselves, not from reading about them.

Honest Scoping

If your platform blocks a fix, we tell you, and we do not bill for work that cannot be done. If a paid plugin, app or plan upgrade is needed, we explain why before you spend anything.

Transparent Accountability

You get clear monthly reports, access to your own data and a named point of contact. We follow Google's spam policies, so you get no link schemes and no shortcuts that put your site at risk.

Who These Packages Are Not For

Our packages are not the right fit if you want guaranteed number-one rankings, overnight results, or bulk low-quality backlinks. They also do not cover website design work with no SEO objective.

Indirectly, yes. Google ranks pages rather than platforms, but your CMS controls URLs, speed, duplicate pages and structured data, and all of these affect how well your pages rank.

There is no single winner. WordPress and headless builds offer the most control, while Shopify, Wix and Squarespace trade some control for convenience. The best CMS is the one that fits your business and is configured properly.

Yes. Many businesses rank well on both platforms. Success depends on content quality, site structure, local SEO and page speed, while working within each platform's technical limits.

Each platform creates different problems and allows different fixes. Pricing by CMS means you pay for the work your site actually needs, not a generic checklist.

It can, if redirects, metadata and content are not carried over properly. With a full redirect map, staging tests and post-launch monitoring, most migrations keep their rankings or recover quickly.

Yes. We work with Contentful, Strapi, Sanity and Next.js builds, covering the rendering strategy, metadata fields, sitemaps, redirects and pre-launch crawl testing.

Technical fixes often show impact within 4 to 8 weeks. Competitive keyword gains usually take 3 to 6 months, depending on your market, platform and starting point.
