Podchaser Podcast Submission Services

Every other directory you submit to is trying to win listeners. Podchaser is trying to win the people who spend money on podcasts.

It is a database, not a player. Sponsors, media buyers, PR agencies, guest bookers and network scouts use it to decide which shows are worth their budget and which guests are worth their airtime. When somebody in that room looks your show up, they are not listening to an episode. They are reading a record — and if that record is thin, wrong or unclaimed, it answers their question for them.

SEOServiceinIndia handles that record end to end: submission, ownership verification, category control, credits, reviews and the on-site work that makes the profile findable in Google and in AI answer engines. We work with podcasters and podcast agencies across the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Singapore and India, and we start every engagement with a free feed and profile audit before anything is quoted.

Platform Overview

What Podchaser actually is, and why that changes the job

Podchaser has been called the IMDb of podcasting since long before Acast acquired it in 2022, and the description has held up. The platform now indexes more than 5.5 million shows and tracks something no listening app tracks: people. Hosts, guests, producers, editors and sound designers exist as their own profiles, connected to every episode they worked on, across millions of credits.

Layered on top of that public database is Podchaser Pro — the commercial product. It surfaces reach estimates, listener demographics, social reach, chart history, sponsorship history, AI-driven brand safety indicators, verified contact data and the proprietary Power Score. Agencies, publicists and advertisers pay for that view. Your listeners never see it. Your buyers only see it.

So the objective on Podchaser is not downloads. It is legibility to the commercial layer of podcasting, plus the search visibility that a well-built, keyword-accurate public profile page earns in Google.

Listing Audit

You are probably already listed. That is exactly the problem.

Podchaser automatically imports shows from public directories such as Apple Podcasts. If your podcast has been live for more than a few weeks, there is a strong chance a page for it already exists — pulled straight from your RSS feed, unclaimed, with whatever categories your host defaulted to, no credits, no social links, no contact details and nobody able to respond to reviews.

That is worse than being absent, because it looks like neglect to exactly the audience you would least want to look neglectful in front of.

The first thing we do is find every existing record for your show, including duplicates left behind by a host migration or a feed URL change. Duplicates split your ratings, split your episode history and split your credits, and they are common on shows that have moved hosts more than once.

Only if no record exists do we actually submit. Submission itself is simple — a public RSS feed URL at podchaser.com/add, or an Apple Podcasts or Spotify link if the feed is awkward to retrieve. The database ingests the show and its full episode back catalogue automatically. The work is everything before and after that form.

Ownership Verification

Claiming: the step where most shows get stuck

A listing you have not claimed is a listing you cannot manage. Podchaser offers two verification routes, and the second one exists precisely because the first fails so often.

Route one — verify by email

Podchaser sends a code to the owner email address published inside your RSS feed. This route only appears if that email is actually present in the feed. Many hosting platforms hide the owner email by default, or set it to a no-reply address the client cannot access, and that single detail blocks the whole process.

Route two — verify by feed token

Podchaser generates a claim token. We paste that token into an episode description or show notes in your hosting dashboard, save, and Podchaser detects it and recognises ownership. Then the token comes back out. This route works even when the owner email is missing or unreachable, and it is the fix we use most often on migrated shows and white-labelled feeds.

What claiming actually unlocks

Once the show is claimed, several things change that are worth more than the claim itself:

  • Categories stop coming from your RSS feed. You take direct control, you can add custom categories, and the order you place them in matters — Podchaser weighs category order in how it displays and ranks shows.
  • A custom URL can be set. It goes through approval, and it can only be set once, so we treat the choice as permanent and pick it against your brand and search terms rather than a guess.
  • Manual feed refresh becomes available, so a new episode appears immediately instead of waiting on the polling cycle.
  • Review replies, badges, merch links, social links and contact fields open up.

Podchaser credits and creator profiles
Creator Profiles & Credits

The credits graph — the part almost every podcast leaves empty

This is the piece no other directory offers, and it is the piece most shows never touch.

Podchaser treats people as first-class entities. Search a name and you get a profile that aggregates every episode that person has hosted, produced, edited or guested on. A claimed creator profile becomes a living press kit that updates itself with every appearance. For a host, it is a verifiable résumé. For a guest, it is proof of track record that a booker can check in under a minute.

Coverage is uneven, and we say that plainly: credits come from a mix of automated detection and community submission, so large and mid-sized shows are mapped well while independent shows are frequently blank. That gap is the opportunity.

Our credits work covers:

  • Creating or claiming creator profiles for your host, co-host, producer and editor
  • Adding role-accurate credits episode by episode, not just at show level
  • Reclaiming your host's guest appearances on other people's shows, so the profile reflects the full body of work
  • Adding guest credits to your own episodes, which links your show to their audience and their profile
  • Keeping bios, headshots, social handles and links consistent across every profile

All new credits and creator profiles go through Podchaser's moderation team, and approval typically lands within about 24 hours. Submissions that are sloppy, duplicated or wrongly roled get bounced, which is why this is done carefully rather than in bulk.

There is a second benefit that matters for search. Credits are structured, machine-readable evidence of who made your content and what else they have made — which is the cleanest form of experience and authority signal available in this medium. We mirror the same person data on your own site so that Google and AI answer engines see a consistent authorship story in both places.

Commercial Signals

Power Score, reach and brand safety: what we influence, and what nobody can sell you

Power Score is Podchaser's proprietary 0–100 measure of a show's popularity and influence, calculated from more than 30 data points including audience size and social reach. It is visible to Podchaser Pro users — which is to say, to the buyers.

It cannot be bought, and any agency that offers to raise it directly is selling you something that does not exist. What we can do is make sure the inputs it reads are complete and accurate: connected and verified social accounts, correct chart-eligible categories, a complete episode history with no duplicate record splitting the data, working links, and accurate contact information.

The same applies to reach estimates, demographic data and brand safety indicators. These are derived, not declared. Our job is to remove the reasons the derivation goes wrong — missing metadata, a broken feed, an orphaned duplicate, an empty transcript field — and then let the number be what it honestly is.

Ratings, reviews and the part your listeners can do

Podchaser ratings and reviews are public, permanent and visible to anyone evaluating your show. Unlike Apple's, they are not locked behind one operating system, and a claimed show can reply to them.

We build a review engine rather than a review request: an end-of-episode call to action script that names the platform and the exact link, a short custom URL that is easy to say out loud, a newsletter and social sequence, and a monitoring setup so reviews are answered rather than ignored. Where a client already uses a review-tracking tool, we plug into it instead of duplicating it.

We do not buy, seed or fabricate reviews, and we do not create fake creator profiles or credits. Both are trivially detectable by a moderation team, and both put your record at risk of bulk removal.

Feed Audit

Feed faults that quietly break your Podchaser record

Podchaser reads your RSS feed. Almost every listing problem is really a feed problem, and we clear these during the audit:

  • A firewall, CDN or bot rule blocking the crawler, so episodes stop updating
  • Owner email missing or hidden, which removes the email claim route entirely
  • Unstable episode GUIDs that regenerate on edit, creating phantom or duplicate episodes
  • A leftover itunes:block tag from a test or private phase
  • Artwork below spec, placeholder art or a host default image
  • A host migration without 301 redirects, leaving a live old record and a live new one
  • Enclosure URLs returning redirects or errors, so episodes appear with no playable audio
  • Missing or unreliable episode durations and descriptions, which weakens both search and credits matching
Search & AI Visibility

Turning the listing into search and AI visibility

A Podchaser profile page can rank in Google for your show name, your host's name and your niche — which makes it an owned SERP asset, not just a directory entry. We work that deliberately, and we pair it with the work on your own site, because a directory page you do not own should never be the only strong result for your brand.

That side of the engagement covers full episode transcripts published on canonical episode pages you control, PodcastSeries and PodcastEpisode structured data, rel="alternate" feed auto-discovery, internal linking from your site's hub page to each episode, and consistent naming of your show, host and topics across every property. Answer engines increasingly assemble responses from exactly this kind of structured, corroborated data — a claimed Podchaser record plus a well-marked-up site is the pairing that gets a show cited rather than skipped.

Global Reach

Markets we work across

USA & Canada

United States and Canada — the deepest advertiser and PR usage of Podchaser Pro, so profile completeness and credits carry the most commercial weight here.

United Kingdom

United Kingdom — strong network and agency presence; category precision and host credits matter for commissioning and guest booking.

Australia

Australia — a concentrated market where credits and creator profiles do a lot of the introduction work for a small pool of buyers.

Singapore

Singapore — language declaration and regional category placement decide whether a show is read as regional or as global English-language.

India

India — a fast-growing creator base that is heavily under-credited on Podchaser. Regional-language shows need honest language declaration, and diaspora-targeted shows benefit from category and metadata choices aimed at listeners in the US, UK, Canada and Australia rather than at the home market alone.

Fit Check

Who this service is not for

We would rather say this before you pay us:

  • Private, paywalled or member-only feeds. These belong off public directories, and we will tell you to keep them off.
  • Shows with one unfinished episode. Submit when there is something to evaluate.
  • Anyone promised a guaranteed Power Score, chart position or sponsor introduction. Nobody can deliver that, here or anywhere.
  • Podcast production. We do not record, edit or mix. We work on the record, the feed and the discovery layer.

Packages

Adding and claiming a podcast on Podchaser is free. We say that on every platform page we publish. What you are paying for is the audit, the ownership verification, the duplicate cleanup, the credits build-out, the category and metadata strategy and the search work around it — the parts that take expertise and hours, not the parts that take a form.

01

Starter

Starter — feed audit, duplicate check, submission or claim, ownership verification via whichever route works, category and metadata setup, custom URL selection, and a verification report.

03

Enterprise

Enterprise — everything in Growth across multiple shows or a full network, with credits management for a recurring guest roster, transcript and schema deployment on your own episode pages, cross-directory syndication and verification, and ongoing reporting.

Pricing is quoted only after the free feed and profile audit, because a show with one clean record and a show with three duplicates and a dead owner email are not the same job.

Why Us

Why SEOServiceinIndia

We have run submission, claim and profile work across the live podcast ecosystem — Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music, Deezer, iVoox, JioSaavn, Listen Notes, Pocket Casts, Podcast Index and more — which means we know where each platform's real failure point sits rather than following a generic checklist.

Our work is done by people who audit feeds directly, read platform documentation rather than listicles, and correct the record when a widely repeated claim is out of date. We tell clients when a listing is free. We tell clients when a platform is a poor fit for their audience. We do not fabricate credits, reviews or profiles. That is the standard we would want applied to our own shows.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Adding a show and claiming it costs nothing. Our fee covers the audit, verification, cleanup, credits work and search optimisation around the listing, not access to the platform.

Submission through the RSS feed is automatic and the show and its episode history are usually ingested quickly. Credit and creator profile submissions are moderated and typically approved within about 24 hours.

Podchaser imports shows automatically from public directories such as Apple Podcasts. That record exists but is unclaimed, which means you cannot control categories, reply to reviews or edit anything until ownership is verified.

Then the email verification route will not appear, and we use the claim token route instead — a token pasted temporarily into an episode description, detected by Podchaser, then removed. We also fix the underlying feed so the email route works in future.

Not directly, and neither can anyone else. Power Score is calculated from over 30 data points. We make sure those inputs are complete and accurate; the score follows from your actual performance.

No. Pro is the buyer-side product used by advertisers, agencies and PR teams. As a podcaster you need your record to be complete and correct so that Pro users see the right picture of your show.

Yes, that is part of the audit. Duplicates usually appear after a host migration or feed URL change and they split ratings, episodes and credits. We consolidate to a single authoritative record.

No. Podchaser is a database, not a listening app. It complements directory distribution — it does not replace it. We can handle both together if your show is not yet fully syndicated.
