Podcast Submission & Migration

Podcorn Podcast Submission Services

If you have landed here after reading a "Top 50 podcast submission sites" listicle, we owe you two honest corrections before we sell you anything.

The first: Podcorn was never a podcast directory. There was no submission form, no listing page, no search results your show could appear in. Podcorn was a self-service sponsorship marketplace — a place where brands found podcasters to read ads. It sat in the monetisation layer, not the distribution layer. Submitting a podcast to it was never a thing anybody could do.

The second correction is the urgent one. Podcorn was acquired by Audacy in 2021, rebranded as Audacy Creator Lab in April 2025, and on 28 August 2026 Audacy confirmed it is winding the platform down entirely on 1 November 2026. If your feed still carries a Podcorn or Creator Lab tracking prefix, or if your show is hosted on Creator Lab's free hosting, you have a hard deadline and a real technical problem sitting in front of you right now.

That is what this page is about. We keep the URL because it is the phrase people search. But the service we sell is the work that actually moves your show: getting off a dying platform cleanly, getting listed on every directory that genuinely matters, and getting found once you are there.

Platform Timeline

What Podcorn actually was, and what happened to it

Podcorn launched in October 2019, built by the founders of FameBit — the influencer-marketing platform Google acquired. The pitch was straightforward and genuinely good: instead of programmatic ads dropped into your episodes by a network, brands would browse a marketplace of creators and commission native, host-read integrations — organic reads, product reviews, topical discussions, interviews with brand staff. No exclusivity, no minimum download threshold, a modest cut of the deal.

Entercom (now Audacy) bought it in early 2021 for $22.5 million. It ran as Podcorn until April 2025, when Audacy folded it into a broader offer called Audacy Creator Lab — same marketplace, now bolted to free podcast hosting, dynamic ad insertion and, from March 2026, a YouTube distribution add-on. At its peak the marketplace covered roughly 20,000 shows and 40,000 creators.

Then, on 28 August 2026, Audacy told partners it was closing Creator Lab on 1 November. The company's stated position is that it is a very small part of its podcasting business and it wants a smooth transition for existing partners. Practically, what that means for you:

Creator Lab shutdown 1 November 2026
  • Any open marketplace campaign must have all required deliverables completed and submitted by 1 November 2026.
  • Creators without an active campaign are not required to do anything by Audacy — but that does not mean your feed is safe. See the next section.
  • Audacy has said it will honour existing payment terms for eligible earnings from completed campaigns.

Nobody can submit your podcast to Podcorn. By November, there will not be a Podcorn to submit to. Any agency still selling you that placement is selling you a listing on a platform that is being switched off.

RSS feed analytics prefix removal before Creator Lab shutdown
Feed Emergency

The urgent bit: the pdcn.co prefix in your RSS feed

This is the part most creators are going to miss, and it is the reason this page exists in its current form.

To join the Podcorn — later Creator Lab — marketplace, creators were asked to install an analytics prefix on their feed: https://pdcn.co/e/. It sits in front of every episode's audio file URL. Every download, on every app, for every episode you have ever published, routes through that redirect before it reaches your actual audio file.

Prefixes are quiet and invisible when they work. They are catastrophic when they stop. If that redirect service is decommissioned alongside the platform and you have not removed it, the failure mode is not "you lose some analytics." The failure mode is that your back catalogue stops playing — in Apple Podcasts, in Spotify, in every third-party app that cached those enclosure URLs. Years of episodes, dead, with no error message pointing at the cause.

Our prefix remediation service covers:

  • A full audit of your feed for prefix chains — many shows stack two or three (a host prefix, a measurement prefix, a marketplace prefix) and the order matters.
  • Clean removal of the Podcorn/Creator Lab prefix at the host level, without disturbing GUIDs or triggering duplicate episodes in directories.
  • Replacement with a surviving measurement layer if you still want third-party stats — OP3, Podtrac, Podscribe or Spotify Ad Analytics, chosen for what you actually need rather than what is fashionable.
  • Post-change verification: we pull episodes on real devices and check the redirect chain resolves to your audio file in under the time an app will wait before giving up.

If you do nothing else on this page, do this. It takes us a few hours and it protects your entire archive.

Host Migration

If your show is hosted on Creator Lab, you are moving house

Creator Lab's free hosting was a genuine offer, and a lot of independent shows took it. When the platform closes, hosted audio and the feed it generates go with it. That is a migration, and migrations are where podcasts quietly lose their audiences.

01

Done badly

Done badly, a host move produces a new feed URL that Apple and Spotify never learn about, regenerated episode GUIDs that make every app re-download your entire catalogue as "new," and a broken YouTube connection if you were using the March 2026 YouTube distribution feature.

02

Done properly

Done properly, your listeners notice nothing at all. Our migration covers export of all audio and metadata, host selection sized to your actual upload volume rather than an upsell, GUID preservation so no episode duplicates, 301 redirects from the old feed, feed-URL updates pushed through Apple Podcasts Connect and Spotify for Creators, re-linking of your YouTube podcast playlist, and a device-level verification pass on every major app afterwards.

What We Do Instead

What we do instead — the three layers Podcorn never covered

Once the emergency is handled, the real question is the one you were trying to answer when you searched for Podcorn in the first place: how does my show get heard, and how does it start earning?

01

Layer one: placement

This is the actual submission work. We put your show in front of every index that matters and, crucially, verify it landed — Apple Podcasts (human-reviewed queue), Spotify, Amazon Music and Audible, YouTube Music via RSS ingestion, Pocket Casts, Player FM, Castbox, Podcast Addict, Podchaser, Podcast Index, plus regional platforms where they fit your audience: JioSaavn and Hubhopper for India, iVoox for Spanish-speaking markets, Deezer across Europe and Latin America.

Several of these require a manual claim that one-click distribution never touches, and a handful verify ownership using the email address published inside your RSS feed rather than the one you registered with — the single most common reason a submission silently fails. We handle both.

02

Layer two: sponsorship readiness

Podcorn's real value was demand: brands came to it. With it gone, the routes to sponsorship money are managed marketplaces such as Libsyn Ads, the Acast Marketplace, Gumball, AudioGO and Podbean's marketplace, affiliate programmes, or direct outreach.

We are an SEO and digital marketing agency, not an ad sales house, and we say that plainly. What we build is the thing every one of those routes asks for and most independent shows do not have: a credible media kit — verified download numbers from a clean measurement setup, audience demographics, a show one-pager, past sponsor results — and a professional show website that a brand's marketing manager can be sent to without you cringing. Shows get rejected by marketplaces far more often for looking unprofessional than for being small.

03

Layer three: discovery

A listing is a shelf. Discovery is what gets someone to reach for you. This is where most of the long-term value sits, and it is genuine SEO work: canonical episode pages on your own domain, published transcripts (which are now the single richest source of indexable text a podcast produces), PodcastEpisode and PodcastSeries schema, rel="alternate" feed auto-discovery, episode titles written for how people actually search rather than for your inside jokes, and show notes that answer questions.

In 2026 this matters more than it did, because AI answer engines increasingly summarise audio content from transcripts and structured data. A show with clean transcripts and proper schema gets cited. A show with an MP3 and a one-line description does not exist to them.

Three layers of podcast growth: placement, sponsorship readiness and discovery
Global Reach

Market fit — where your show should actually be pushed

Global podcast submission coverage across USA UK Canada Australia Singapore India
United States & Canada

United States and Canada. The deepest sponsorship demand and the most competitive search. Apple, Spotify, YouTube Music and Amazon carry the weight; measurement credibility matters most here because buyers scrutinise it.

United Kingdom

United Kingdom. Strong Apple and Spotify share, plus a healthy independent app ecosystem. Category selection and topic clarity drive discovery more than raw download volume.

Australia

Australia. Similar profile to the UK with a heavier Pocket Casts presence. Publishing schedule and time-zone-aware launch timing genuinely affect early follow counts.

Singapore

Singapore. Small, high-value, multilingual. Explicit language declaration in the feed is not optional — get it wrong and your show is served to the wrong audience segment or none at all.

India

India. Android-majority, so Google-adjacent surfaces, JioSaavn, Hubhopper and Podcast Addict carry disproportionate weight over the iOS-only apps. Regional-language declaration and diaspora targeting in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and the Gulf are where most Indian shows find their second audience.

Fit Check

Who this is not for

We would rather lose the sale than take money for work that will not help you.

  • If your show is private or paywalled, most public directories are the wrong destination and the correct architecture is a public marketing feed plus a separate private member feed.
  • If you have one unfinished episode, submit nothing yet. Several indexes will not count you as a podcast until you have three episodes, and a thin listing reviewed once is hard to un-review.
  • If you want a guaranteed chart position or featured slot, no vendor on earth can sell you that honestly. Editorial curation is discretionary and follower-driven charts respond to listener behaviour, not to invoices.
  • If you want audio production — editing, music, hosting talent — that is not us, and we will refer you.

Why Us

Why work with SEOServiceinIndia

We have been doing search and content work since long before podcasts became a marketing channel, and we have handled feed migrations, prefix failures and directory rejections for shows across six markets. The specific competence that matters here is unglamorous: reading an RSS feed properly, knowing which directory verifies ownership against which email field, and understanding that a 301 redirect and a preserved GUID are the difference between a smooth move and a lost audience.

We also tell you when something is free. Every directory listing described on this page can be obtained at no cost by a podcaster with the time and the patience to do it. What you are paying for is the diagnostic work, the execution without mistakes, and the verification afterwards — not access to a secret door.

Diagnostic work, careful execution and verification afterwards — not access to a secret door.

Podcast submission engagement timeline and reporting process
Process

How the engagement runs

Week one is the audit and the emergency triage — prefix and hosting issues first, because those have a deadline. Week two is feed repair, artwork and metadata compliance, and migration if required. Weeks three and four are submission and verification across the directory set, with a listing-status sheet you can check yourself. From there, the discovery layer runs continuously: transcripts, episode pages, schema and reporting.

You get a named contact, a shared document with live listing status, and monthly reporting that shows downloads, listing health and search visibility rather than a screenshot of a graph.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Podcast submission FAQ and free feed audit from SEOServiceinIndia

No, and nobody ever could. Podcorn was a brand-sponsorship marketplace with no submission or listing function. Its successor, Audacy Creator Lab, closes on 1 November 2026. What we do instead is get you listed on the directories that actually carry listeners.

Audacy has told partners that all required deliverables on open marketplace campaigns must be completed and submitted by 1 November 2026, and that it will honour existing payment terms for eligible earnings from completed campaigns. Finish your deliverables before the deadline and keep your own records of what was delivered.

Open your RSS feed and look at any episode's audio file URL. If it begins with a redirect domain such as pdcn.co before your own host's URL, the prefix is installed. Our free feed audit checks this for you and reports the full redirect chain.

Not if it is done correctly at the host level and your GUIDs are left untouched. Removing it improperly, or removing it after the redirect service is switched off, is what causes problems. That is exactly why the sequencing matters and why this should be handled before November rather than after.

Yes. The platform is being wound down on 1 November 2026, and hosted audio goes with it. If your show lives there, plan a migration now while you can still export everything in an orderly way rather than under pressure.

The main managed marketplaces are Libsyn Ads, the Acast Marketplace, Gumball, AudioGO and Podbean's marketplace, alongside affiliate programmes and direct brand outreach. Each has its own requirements. We build the media kit, measurement setup and show website those routes ask for.

Not for directory listings — those are open to any valid public feed with enough episodes. Sponsorship marketplaces vary, with some managed networks looking for around 5,000 monthly downloads while others accept shows of any size on an affiliate model.

Most directories index within 24 to 72 hours. Apple Podcasts runs a human review queue that can take several days, and a handful of platforms review submissions individually over roughly a week. We report each listing as it goes live rather than telling you it is "in progress."
