Zeno.FM Submission

Zeno.FM Podcast Submission Services

Zeno.FM is not a directory you submit a link to and forget. It is a radio-first audio platform with its own listening apps, its own on-platform podcast catalogue, and a publishing workflow that starts inside your own broadcast schedule.

Getting a show live there — correctly, on the right plan, with the audio cleared for on-demand distribution — is a build job, not a form-filling job. That is what this service covers.

Platform Reality

First, the Correction Every Listicle Gets Wrong

Search "free podcast hosting" and Zeno.FM still appears on dozens of round-up posts as unlimited, free, forever. That line is out of date. Zeno.FM discontinued its free broadcasting plans in January 2025. Publishing now runs on a paid plan — Starter, Prime or Premier — with a 7-day trial available on Starter and account suspension if no plan is activated when the trial ends. Listening to and discovering stations and podcasts on Zeno.FM remains completely free and needs no account, which is why the free-hosting myth survives.

That matters before you spend anything, because the plan you choose sets a hard ceiling on how many shows you can publish: Starter carries up to 3 podcasts, Prime up to 50 podcasts or shows, and Premier up to 250. Nonprofit broadcasters qualify for a 40% discount. We size the plan against your actual show count, listening hours and monetization intent at the audit stage — before a subscription is started, not after you have outgrown it.

Who Zeno.FM Is Actually Built For

Zeno Media has been operating out of New York since 2011 and its flagship platform carries programming from 248 countries with an average monthly listenership in the tens of millions across roughly 25,000 streams. Its strength is not the American true-crime chart. It is diaspora, community, faith and multilingual audio — West African, Caribbean, Central Asian, Latin American and South Asian audiences listening to hometown stations and native-language programming from wherever they now live.

Strong fit. If you run a community station, a church or temple broadcast, a regional-language talk show, a campus radio slot, a sports commentary stream or an in-store network, Zeno.FM is a genuinely strong fit and the on-demand library is the part most broadcasters leave unbuilt.
Honest advice. If you run a studio-recorded English B2B interview show with no live broadcast and no diaspora audience, we will tell you plainly that a cheaper conventional host serves you better. That assessment is free.

The Job Nobody Else Scopes: Turning Your Live Show Into Episodes

Most Zeno.FM broadcasters already produce hours of good content every week. It airs once and disappears. Converting it into a permanent, searchable, distributable episode library is the single highest-return piece of work on this platform, and it is not a copy-paste exercise.

The Music-Rights Gate

A live stream and an on-demand episode sit under different rules. Commercial music you can legally stream is not automatically clearable for download and redistribution through Apple Podcasts, Spotify or Amazon Music. Episodes therefore have to be prepared with music removed or replaced before they go into a public feed. Zeno's Podcast Bot automation is built around exactly this — it records the show on your broadcast schedule, strips background music, cleans the audio, handles intros and outros and drafts show notes. We configure it, set the review gate so nothing publishes unheard, and define what gets cut versus kept.

The Segment Decision

A three-hour show is not one episode. We break it into publishable units — the interview, the sermon, the match analysis, the news block — each with its own title, description and keywords. Episode-level metadata is a search surface in its own right.

The Measurement Question

Analytics live in Zeno Tools with historical comparison, and plan level decides whether raw data reports are available. We set up reporting you can actually read, and we tell you what Zeno does not report so you are never guessing.

Distribution

Where Your Show Goes After Zeno

Zeno.FM Distribution is included on paid plans, and Zeno Tools generates the RSS feed automatically once your first episode is uploaded. That feed is the asset. From it we drive placement across the wider ecosystem: Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music and Audible, YouTube Music, Pocket Casts, Player FM, Castbox, Podcast Addict, Deezer, TuneIn, iVoox, Podchaser and Podcast Index, plus the regional platforms that matter for your audience — JioSaavn and Hubhopper for India, for example.

Several of those are not one-click destinations. Apple runs a human review queue. Spotify does not follow feed redirects, so a migrated show has to be re-pointed by hand with a verification code sent to the email address published inside the feed. Castbox, Player FM and Podcast Addict need ownership claims. We work that manual set as a checklist and verify the live listing on each one rather than reporting "submitted".

Feed and Migration Engineering

Most failed submissions are feed problems, not platform problems. Our audit covers the faults that actually cause rejections and silent gaps:

  • Uploads that are not in a supported format — Zeno Tools expects MP3 for direct episode uploads, or an RSS URL for import
  • Artwork that fails review: non-square, low resolution, placeholder art or host default images (we ship 3000x3000 square)
  • A leftover itunes:block tag quietly excluding you from directories
  • Owner email hidden by the host, breaking every verification code that platform sends
  • Firewall, CDN or bot rules blocking directory crawlers so your feed is never read
  • Unstable episode GUIDs regenerating on edit, producing duplicate episodes downstream
  • Migration done without GUID preservation and 301 redirects, leaving duplicate listings and split download stats

If you are moving to Zeno from another host, the import path exists, but the redirect discipline around it is what protects your back catalogue and your subscriber base. We handle the export, the import, the GUID mapping, the redirects and the feed-URL push at every directory that needs it manually.

Automation and AI Discovery

Two things changed recently and both are sellable work rather than talking points.

The Zeno Audio MCP Server

Zeno now runs an Audio MCP server exposing 46 podcast tools — podcast and episode management, upload and processing, music and ad removal, transcripts, title and description generation, interview extraction, distribution destinations, job status and stats — connectable to MCP-compatible AI agents with your API key, alongside the standard Zeno API. For networks publishing daily, we build that pipeline so episode prep and publishing stop eating staff hours, with permissions scoped and reviewed.

Answer-Engine Visibility

Separately, answer engines now sit between your show and a large share of discovery. Being listed is no longer enough to be found. We publish transcripts on canonical episode pages on your own domain, mark them up with PodcastSeries and PodcastEpisode schema, add rel="alternate" feed auto-discovery, and keep your Zeno.FM landing page and microsite consistent with that record. That is how a show gets cited by an AI answer, not just indexed by an app.

Global Reach

Markets We Work In

United States and Canada. The core Zeno Media market, including the dial-in Call to Listen Line that lets US listeners tune in on phone minutes without mobile data — relevant for community and diaspora audiences with limited connectivity.

United Kingdom. Strong South Asian, African and Caribbean community broadcasting, plus faith networks; language and country declaration does most of the discovery work.

Australia. Multicultural and faith radio with time-zone-shifted diaspora listening, where the on-demand library often outperforms the live stream.

Singapore. Small market, multilingual by default; correct language tagging separates a Tamil or Mandarin show from the English catalogue.

India. Regional-language and devotional audio, plus diaspora targeting outward to the Gulf, UK, US and Australia. We pair Zeno.FM with JioSaavn, Hubhopper and Amazon Music India rather than treating any one platform as the plan.

Why Choose Us

Why Work With SEOServiceinIndia

Experience. We have built and verified podcast listings across the full directory landscape — hosts, indexes, apps and closed catalogues — which is why we can tell you in one call whether a platform is a listing job, a migration job or a waste of money.

Expertise. Feed engineering, music-rights-aware episode prep, schema, transcripts and answer-engine visibility sit in one team, so the audio and the search work are not fighting each other.

Authoritativeness. Named specialists own your account. Work is documented, feeds are validated against public specifications, and every claim on this page is checked against the platform's own current documentation.

Trust. Nobody can sell you a chart position, a guaranteed monetization figure or an editorial feature, and we do not pretend otherwise. Zeno's own monetization activates with a paid plan and pays against audience size and ad impressions — that is audience work, not a switch we can flip. Where a platform listing is free, we say so and charge only for the work around it.

Packages

Zeno.FM Podcast Submission Packages

Three levels, sized after the audit. Pricing is quoted only after the free audit, because plan cost, show count and conversion volume change the number honestly.

Zeno.FM podcast submission service packages and pricing tiers
Starter, Growth and Enterprise — quoted after your free audit.
Starter

Submission Starter for a single show needing feed setup, Zeno listing and core directory distribution.

Growth

Submission Growth for regular broadcasters adding radio-to-podcast conversion, automation setup, transcripts and episode pages.

Enterprise

Submission Enterprise for stations and networks with multiple shows, migration, MCP or API pipeline work, and monthly reporting across every listing.

No longer. Free broadcasting plans were discontinued in January 2025 and publishing now runs on Starter, Prime or Premier, with a 7-day trial on Starter. Listening on Zeno.FM stays free with no account.

Appearing on Zeno.FM means publishing through Zeno, so this is decided at the audit. For many clients the answer is a two-feed or dual-publishing setup rather than a full migration.

Up to 3 on Starter, up to 50 on Prime and up to 250 on Premier. We size the plan to your show count before you subscribe.

Yes. Podcast Bot records on your schedule, removes background music, cleans the audio and drafts show notes. We configure it and keep a human review step before publishing.

Streaming rights and on-demand distribution rights are different. Episodes carrying commercial music risk rejection or takedown at the major directories, so they are prepared clean.

Zeno-side setup and first publish typically take a few days. Apple's review queue and the manual-claim platforms add roughly one to two weeks for full distribution.

Yes, when it is done properly — GUIDs preserved, 301 redirects in place and feed URLs updated at every directory that does not follow redirects.

Yes. Most of our podcast distribution clients are in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia and Singapore, alongside Indian broadcasters targeting diaspora audiences.
